Q2 2024 Fitness App Trends on iOS in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've taken a look at the performance of the top fitness and weight loss applications on the iOS platform in the US. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends of downloads and user engagement for these leading apps.

Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter experienced a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at $49K in mid-April before dipping to $18K at the end of May and rising back to $34K towards the end of June. Downloads saw a decline from 1.4M in early April to 836K by the end of June, while weekly active users decreased from 4.9M to 4.9M in the same period.

The Smart Fit App showed consistency in weekly active users, starting at 4.2M and growing to 4.7M by the end of June. Downloads for Smart Fit App declined from 841K at the beginning of April to 620K by the end of June.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite) saw its downloads fluctuate, with an initial 461K in early April and ending the quarter at 503K. Weekly active users for Mi Fitness showed a steady increase from 954K to 1.1M over the quarter.

HUAWEI Health had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, starting at 207K and experiencing a dip to 167K in early June before closing the quarter at 192K. The weekly active users, however, showed a more positive trend, starting at 5.6M and peaking at 6M in early May, with a slight decrease to 5.4M by the quarter's end.

Lastly, JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit saw a notable increase in revenue from $557K in early April to $723K by the end of June. Downloads started at 273K, decreased mid-quarter to 136K, and bounced back up to 288K. Weekly active users grew from 953K to 1.3M over the same time frame.
